Stableford’s is a specialist wood turning company with over 15 years’ woodworking experience, serving both the construction and interior design markets.

We pride ourselves on creating beautiful quality decorative timber products for new build developments, high-class conversions and prestige refurbishment projects. We also design and manufacture bespoke pieces for the home.

Function and Form
Stableford’s offers the building industry a complete stair balustrading service, in both bespoke specifications and in standard ranges. We also turn our hand to chair and table legs, mouldings, in fact any architectural component, from the smallest oak door knob to large diameter columns.

As well as the functional, we create the ornamental – home furnishing pieces such as table lamps, standard lamps and mirror frames and have worked on a number of exclusive design commissions, such as for the Chelsea Harbour Design Centre and leading hotels.

The quality of our turning and finishing is widely regarded as exceptional and always commented on by our existing clients and especially by potential clients seeing our work for the first time. On top of a superior product, we also provide a highly flexible, extremely reliable service that displays the same fine attention to detail as our woodworking activities.

Our one-off projects are all individually turned, while the larger volumes required for housing projects are turned on copy lathes.

Of course, none of this means very much without a prompt, efficient delivery service and we ensure that our turnarounds suit both our bespoke commissions and the greater quantities for housing developments

Sustainable Sources
We carefully select only the best quality timbers, for example the finest European Oak and ensure all our wood is from sustainable sources. If needed, the required certification can be obtained from our Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) accredited timber merchants.
